As the temperature begins to warm up, Rexall Centre construction continues to heat up as another milestone has been reached. The first seats at Centre Court stadium have been installed and will be ready to go when the Tennis Masters Canada debuts the new world class facility from July 24th to August 1st.
The stars of the ATP will showcase the world’s best tennis on the 12,500 seat Centre Court stadium. The installation of the seats should be completed in roughly two months.
“We are thrilled that the installation of seats has begun here at Rexall Centre,” said Stacey Allaster, Tennis Masters Canada tournament director. “This is a sign that we will be ready to host the stars of the ATP, as we are very excited to have the men coming back to Toronto.”
As Centre Court stadium continues to make progress, the cranes currently standing above the court will be taken down in about two weeks. As Centre Court inches closer to its final preparations, the outer courts will begin to take shape, as PCL Constructors Canada Ltd. works towards the unveiling of Rexall Centre in July.
From July 24-August 1, 2004, the best of the best in men's tennis will unveil Rexall Centre for the Tennis Masters Canada. Session tickets and corporate hospitality packages are now available.
