Lleyton Hewitt advanced to his sixth semifinal of the season with a 6-3, 3-6, 7-6 (5) victory over seventh-seeded Cyril Saulnier on Friday at the Legg Mason Tennis Classic.
Hewitt, who has already won titles this year in Sydney and Rotterdam, battled on-court temperatures of over 100 degrees.
