Tickets Now On Sale for Summer Classic
WASHINGTON, DC – The Legg Mason Tennis Classic presented by GEICO returns to the William H.G. FitzGerald Tennis Center (16th & Kennedy Streets, NW) for its 37th straight summer, from July 30-August 7, 2005, and has already received commitments from top U.S. players and former LMTC champions:
- Andre Agassi, five-time Legg Mason Tennis Classic champion; holder of 59 career singles titles. No. 10 in the ATP Champions Race.
- Andy Roddick, 2001 Legg Mason Tennis Classic champion, one of 16 career singles titles in his young career; currently #5 in the ATP Champions Race.
- James Blake, 2002 Legg Mason Tennis Classic champion, is one of the game’s most popular players and a perennial fan-favorite in Washington, D.C.
- Bob & Mike Bryan, captured an ATP-best 7 doubles titles in 11 finals for 2004, including season-ending ATP Tennis Masters Cup in Houston. Already have one title in three tries for 2005 and reached the Finals of the Australian Open. The Bryan brothers are currently #2 in the ATP Doubles Champions race.
