Querrey to Play Gonzalez at Indianapolis

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) -- Danai Udomchoke of Thailand beat Tomas Cako of the Czech Republic 6-2, 6-2 on Monday to set up a second-round match against top-seeded James Blake in the RCA Championships.

Other first-round winners included Americans Jeff Morrison and Sam Querrey, a wild-card entry who at 18 has become the youngest player from the United States ranked in the top 200. Chile's Paul Capdeville and Colombia's Alefandro Falla also advanced.

Morrison beat Mexico's Santiago Gonzalez 6-2, 6-2; Querrey topped Serbia's Jan Tipsarevic 6-4, 6-7 (4), 6-4; Capdeville beat Germany's Tomas Behrend 6-2, 6-0; and Falla defeated France's Jean-Christophe Faurel 6-4, 6-2.

Play in the qualifying tournament also was completed Monday and all four Americans who had hoped to earn one of four spots in the main draw were eliminated. Jezel Levy of Israel was among those who qualified.

Andy Roddick, the No. 2 seed and two-time champion, also had a first-round bye.
