With only two weeks to go until the 2006 US Open, the US Open Series continues its exciting run in Week 5 of play, with the men competing at the Western & Southern Financial Group Masters in Cincinnati and the women in action at the Rogers Cup in Montreal.

ESPN2 will provide live coverage from the Western & Southern Financial Group Masters, starting from the first round of play on Monday, from 3-5 p.m. EST, and continuing daily until the final, which airs Sunday from 1-3 p.m. EST. Live coverage of the Rogers Cup kicks off with the quarterfinals on Friday, from 2-4 p.m. EST, and concludes with the final on Sunday, scheduled to take place from 3-5 p.m. See below for the complete TV schedule from both tournaments.

Once again, the world’s most talented tennis players will take the courts at both events, with world No. 1 and defending champion Roger Federer, No. 2 Rafael Nadal and 2003 champion Andy Roddick among the impressive field in Cincinnati, and last year's champ Kim Clijsters, Maria Sharapova and Martina Hingis set for action in Montreal.

The US Open Series is the six-week summer tennis season linking 10 major ATP and Sony Ericsson WTA Tour tournaments to the US Open. Since its inception in 2004, the six-week US Open Series has doubled television viewership and increased attendance, while generating new corporate partnerships for the sport.

Andy Roddick and Kim Clijsters were the winners of the 2005 US Open Series, with Clijsters doubling her prize money at the US Open to earn $2.2 million, the largest purse in women’s sports history. US Open Series sponsors include American Express, Lever 2000, MassMutual Financial Group and Olympus.
